We are pleased to announce that the LEED-Platinum Gymnasium we designed for Sequoia Union High School District will be part of the upcoming “Green Schools” exhibit at the National Building Museum in Washington DC. The exhibition runs between March 2, 2013, and January 5, 2014.

We are pleased to announce that last Wednesday, October 17, our Myrtle Street High School Campus in East Palo Alto won a Merit Award in the Architecture Category of the AIA Santa Clara Valley design awards! Special thanks to our client Sequoia Union High School District and contractor Blach Construction Company for helping us make this wonderful project a reality.

The new building which serves not only as the school’s digital media arts building, but a new gateway to the football field, opened on Thursday afternoon. Representatives from Facebook, who provided the Apple computers in the photo and video labs, were in attendance to celebrate the event.

Cody Anderson Wasney Architects is proud to announce that their Fifth Avenue Alternative School in Redwood City, completed for the Sequoia Union High School District, has achieved LEED Platinum – the highest standard for sustainability and green design. Last year our new gym on the Sequoia High School Campus in Redwood City was certified as LEED Platinum. This is only the second LEED Platinum public school project in the Bay Area; both completed by CAW Architects.
